Hope you are doing well!
Its been a while Since I have updated, Been Really busy over here @stevendailyart
I wanted to share some New Shows, Paintings, and What I have been up to.
First Off, Tomi and I welcomed Our Son Lucien Into the world On jan 9th 2015.
He Is now 4 months old and so amazing and inspiring.
Im really lucky to work at home, i get to spend so much time with him.
Ive Pretty Much been “Mr Mom” Lately, but have managed to get a few projects in the works.
Lucien and I are Getting into a groove here in the studio.
We have A brand new Painting “Unconditional”
This Piece has been a nightmare!!
IT started off great, but due to a super rookie move I spilled turpentine on it and had to find a way to fix it.
I had already put about 40 hours into it. and did not want to simply start over.
So glad I didn’t, I learned so much more about the Oil Medium.
And after trail and error, a little cursing, and tears.
I managed it to fix it almost a year later.
During this time the piece took on a different meaning due to the birth of my son. The feeling of unconditional love i encountered when i saw him,
Completely changed the meaning.
The piece will have a limited print run with San francisco’s @lovedtoDeath lovedtodeath.com
It will be debuting in the group show New beginnings, at Heart n soul gallery . Saturday May 16th. 6 pm 6101 Washington Blvd, Culver City Ca 90232

I started A new Mural @TheContaineryard, The first fully Curated Street art gallery.
I was invited by @vyalone, A good friend that Ive known for years. and Ash Chang TO come and paint.
It has been an amazing experience, and so much fun. Thanks Ash and Vyal!
We have had a few setbacks with rain, wind and a scorcher of a day.
Due to having a new life in the family. I haven’t been able to give it my full attention.
A few hours here and there when I can. I hope to finish it this weekend, if it doesn’t rain.
Graffiti art was the first art I was ever really excited about. IT pretty much took over my young adult life.
It was rebellious, fun, and created entirely by the youth. So any time i get to go out and paint a wall is just such an amazing time for me.
Not to mention a work out at my age.
Here are some progress Images of the mural so far
And upcoming, I have a new Print coming out with Prints On Wood soon.
Here’s a sneak peak. Disorder Limited run coming soon
I finally got time to to tile all the paintings I did for BABY TATTOO VILLE 7.
Here They are all together again.

We’ve all done it. We’ve sat at the bar, drinking a beer and doodled on a coaster.
But most of us aren’t the extremely skilled painters, illustrators, animators, tattooists, sculptors or collage artists that are featured in this exhibition that takes a love of craft brewing and elevates it to high art.
The folks behind L.A. Beer Week produced a custom canvas for some of our favorite gallery folks to do what they do best, and transform a 4″ tondo coaster into museum worthy exhibition pieces.
Last year, we dotted our walls with over 700 tiny masterpieces, and this year we’re looking to outdo ourelves. The rules are simple: Each coaster must be a solitary work (though it’s fine if several pieces work together contextually), and they must be priced $250 or less. There is no bottom, so some coasters might even be free!
This isn’t just the same, old crop of folks you see in every group show across town. There are a lot of participants who we quite frankly can’t believe we got to participate. Maybe it’s because we kept the rules simple: We told them to do whatever they wanted. Whether you love beer or don’t, the art will blow your mind.
And just like last year, there will be some amazing beer here, too!

BORN FROM WATER. Celebrating World Water Day and clean-drinking-water-awareness! HURLEY WILL MATCH ALL PROCEEDS from the show and donate to Waves for Water. Friday, March 21, 6-9pm, Hurley Town Hall, 1945 Placentia Ave, Costa Mesa 92627 #Hurley #artshow #blisssmagazine
Opening March 8th, “Pillage The Village” will present the work of Steven Daily, Kevin Peterson, and Jophen Stein, three Southern California based painters who use the surrealist perspective as the starting point in their creation. While each artist draws on their own personal experiences and beliefs to shape their imaginative work, all three artists share a sense of disillusionment that stems from forgotten history, and a need to examine the human condition from a position that is more mystical than material.
The opening reception will occur on March 8th from 7pm to 10pm. The reception is free and open to the public with refreshments. It will be available for viewing from March 8th to April 6th. As Issued is located at The LAB in Costa Mesa, CA, 2930 Bristol St. #A104. For more information visit www.asissued.com, email info@asissued or call 949-300-7118
